Founder

Arshiya Payal Bhan

Arshiya Payal Bhan is a certified CANFIT Pro fitness coach, actor, dancer, storyteller, and producer. With over 7 years of experience in fitness and more than 28 years of dance performance, Arshiya founded UMSRA in 2019 with a vision and a passion, despite having no prior business experience. That same year marked the beginning of her spiritual journey, which became the foundation for UMSRA.

Arshiya began her professional fitness career at Good Life, where she offered her signature group fitness classes that quickly gained attention for their creativity and impact. Today, she blends her expertise in fitness, dance, and ancient wisdom with modern science to create transformative programs and experiences that inspire individuals to align their mind, body, and soul.

With a rich background in the arts, wellness, and fitness, Arshiya combines creativity, education, and well-being to guide people toward living authentically and in alignment with their true selves.

A TEDx speaker, published co-author, and Second Runner-Up at Miss India Canada, Arshiya has been recognized for her contributions to health and wellness. She received the 2019 Health and Fitness Award from the Waterfront Awards for her impact in the GTA, and UMSRA was officially nominated for the Canadian Choice Award 2026 in the Health & Wellness category, celebrating excellence, dedication, and community impact across Canada.

Her mission with UMSRA is to bring a global audience together in alignment with their true selves, empowering individuals to live their fullest potential.

Co-Founder

Ayeesha S. Kanji

Ayeesha Kanji, Founder of Chestnuts Coaching and Consulting and featured in the Top 100 Magazine, integrates her background in Wellness, HR Consulting, Adult Learning, and Holistic Leadership Transformation Coaching as Co-Founder of Umsra. 
With up to ten years of experience in coaching, her approach aligns with owning your power. She incorporates accountability and working through transitions to feel good about your transitions and life decisions with an open-minded, empathetic and honest mindset.
She is the co-founder of Umsra due to her experience as a client. In the time she was a client and received the holistic coaching and fitness experience with Arshiya, she learnt how to heal and love herself. A recent certified CanFitPro Healthy Eating and Weight Loss Coach and Health and Wellness Coach she combines how to manage your way of being and healthy habits together in maximizing your own transformation. A published poet, contributing blogger and contributing author, she is an alumni of New York University and Toronto Metropolitan University with lived experiences in Los Angeles, Toronto, New York and London, UK.
